The Latest From Wolfman Mac's Chiller Drive-In!

Horrors of Spider Island
Nightmare Castle Tonight at the Main Art Theater
More Dave Ivey Props!

My money's on the blondIt’s an extra big helping of cheese this Fourth of July on Wolfman Mac’s Chiller Drive-In. What kind of cheese? The best kind: cheesecake! It’s one of the things that makes the USA so awesome.

The movie this week is Horrors of Spider Island. The only real horror about this film is that fact that it got made in the first place. It stars a bevy of babes that get stranded on a deserted island with their manager after their plane crashes. The manager gets bitten by a huge spider and turns into a fuzzy spider monster.

But don’t worry about that. Most of this film is spent on the girls and their fights, snarky comments and skimpy outfits. It's a terrible movie that's easy on the eye.

And if that’s not enough cheesecake to ruin your diet, back at the Chiller Drive-In, Boney Bob gets the brilliant idea to make a Chiller Cheesecake Calendar. And all the hot babes from the show to drop by to strike a pose.

That’s this Saturday Night at midnight on Wolfman Mac’s Chiller Drive-In. Only on Detroit’s My TV 20.

But if you need to get out the house a couple days before the big holiday, join Wolfman Mac and the crew of Chiller Drive-In at the Main Art Theater in Royal Oak for July’s Attack of The Killer B’s!

This month we have the 1965 Barbra Steele classic, Nightmare Castle.

Wolfman Mac and the Chiller Drive-In cast will be on hand to keep the laughs coming. That's tonight at the Royal Oak Main Art Theater at 7:30. Ticket prices: adults $9, students $7, kids under 12 $5.

The Main Art Theater is at 118 North Main Street in Royal Oak. Call 248 263-2111 for more information.

You can almost see the wires...Evil Brain From Outer Space - SPECIAL TIME!

It’s superhero sci-fi action with a dash of kung-fu and a hint of ballet this week on Wolfman Mac’s Chiller Drive-In.

Saturday night at 12:30 (a half hour later than usual) you’ll be smacked upside the head by Evil Brain From Outer Space! Starring Japan’s first modern superhero, Starman!

Since this nonsensical film is an amalgamation of three other nonsensical films, you can rest assured that your mind will be completely ruined by the time we get to the second commercial break. In fact, if your brain hasn’t turned to tapioca by 2 am, you’re taking way too much ginko biloba.

And if the movie isn’t bad enough, Boney Bob has his own superhero adventure back in the projection booth! Join StarBob as he battles with The Milkman®™© and his udderly evil henchmen.

That’s this Saturday Night at a special time: 12:30! Tune in for Evil Brain From Outer Space on Wolfman Mac’s Chiller Drive-In. Only on Detroit’s My TV 20!

This week on Wolfman Mac’s Chiller Drive-In, get ready for a classic from 1960: The Wasp Woman.

Produced and directed by Roger Corman, and starring the late Susan Cabot in her final role before retiring from B-Movies. She probably thought that she didn’t need to work in Corman movies when her own life was crazier than anything he could come up with.

And if the movie’s not odd enough, back at the Chiller Drive-In, Morbid Melvin and Boney Bob decide to tie the knot...

That’s this Saturday night at midnight, The Wasp Woman on Wolfman Mac’s Chiller Drive-In! Only on Detroit’s My TV 20!

I Bury the LivingI Bury The Living - A Detroit Thing

Hey wolf pack! It’s time to get your hands dirty on this week’s episode of Chiller Drive-In!

We have the 1958 psycho-thriller, I Bury The Living! This one doesn’t have a monster or blood and guts or anything like that. Instead it has a big ugly map on a wall!

Wait. What?

The newly appointed chairman of a large cemetery seems to be able to determine who will die by simply placing black pins in the unoccupied-but-sold graves indicated on the aforementioned wall hanging. People start croaking all over town and chairman Robert Kraft (Richard Boone – best known as the star of Have Gun Will Travel) begins to lose what little mind he already had in the first place! If you liked Carnival of Souls (and who doesn’t), then you’ll dig (get it?) I Bury The Living.

And if that isn’t scary enough, back at the projection booth, Wolfman Mac goes out on a double date! AAAAAHHHHHH!

That’s this Saturday night at Midnight! Wolfman Mac’s Chiller Drive-In only on Detroit’s My TV 20! Taking a Bite Out of Saturday Night!

But if you need to get out of the house and can’t wait til Friday to see the Red Wings bring home the Cup, head out to the Main Art Theater in Royal Oak for “A Detroit Thing”.

Directed by Chiller Drive-In Producer Anthony Brancaleone and starring Queen Bee, The Howling Diablos and Kid Rock. Watch as bands around Detroit struggle to rise from economic strife.

If you miss it this week, you’ll have two more chances during the month of June to catch it! See “A Detroit Thing” at 7:30 pm on Thursday June 11, 18 and 25.

The Bat!The Bat!

With May Monster Movie Mayhem over, Chiller Drive-In is getting back to basics. And what could be better than a Vincent Price classic? This week we have The Bat from 1959.

A mysterious murderer known only as The Bat terrorizes a couple of old ladies, meanwhile $1 million goes missing from the local bank. You'll be beating your head against the wall as you try to figure out which of the 2-dimensional characters is The Bat.

The Bat also stars Agnes Moorehead, who played Endora on the Bewitched TV series, and Darla Hood; best known for her role in the Our Gang (Little Rascals) shorts of the 1930s and 1940's.

That's tonight at Midnight - on Wolfman Mac's Chiller Drive-In. Only on Detroit's WMYD My TV 20!
